The Indigo Space is an emotional wellness app created to support your healing journey. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with care and respect. This privacy policy applies to the The Indigo Space app available at https://indigo-space-calm.base44.app and on the Google Play Store.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account information: your email address and name when you register.
- App content: journal entries, toolkit items, reminders, and voice memos that you create.
- Subscription data: billing status managed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
- Usage data: basic analytics to understand how features are used (no personally identifiable information).
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the app experience.
- To manage your subscription and send essential account emails.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Access is restricted to you and our trusted infrastructure providers. We use Base44 as our backend platform and Stripe for payment processing — both maintain their own rigorous security standards.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Specifically:
- Account data (name, email) is retained for the lifetime of your account.
- App content (journal entries, toolkit items, voice memos, reminders) is retained until you delete it or delete your account.
- Subscription & billing data is retained as required by law (typically up to 7 years for financial records).
- After account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Data Deletion
You have full control over your data and can delete it at any time in the following ways:
- Delete individual items: You can delete individual journal entries, toolkit items, reminders, and voice memos directly within the app.
- Delete your entire account: Go to Settings → Delete Account within the app. This will permanently delete all your personal data, journal entries, toolkit items, voice memos, and reminders immediately.
- Request deletion by email: If you are unable to access the app, you can email us at jessica@theindigospace.com to request full data deletion. We will process your request within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
- Access & correction: you can view and edit your information within the app at any time.
- Deletion: you can permanently delete all your data from the Settings page (see Section 6).
- Data portability: contact us if you need a copy of your data.
8. Children's Privacy
The Indigo Space is intended for users aged 13 and older. This app is designed for adults seeking emotional wellness support and is not directed at children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information from our systems promptly.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at jessica@theindigospace.com and we will delete it within 30 days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
